The Journey
with Coco Story
The Coco Project began with a goal of creating exposure to travel and learning but it quickly expanded and became a more ambitious goal of changing the world one person at a time. If we can take novas and use them to inspire love, compassion, and tolerance; allowing it to lend increased hope and kindness, then I think we would successfully have met our purpose.
We begin this journey with the love nova because we want to use it to inspire you and others to share love and particularly want our babies and toddlers to own a love nova. As you embark on this journey with us, please stop to read the affirmations about the power of love and ways in which you can embrace and adopt the qualities of all the novas in your life.

We believe that inherently we all have a desire for love and to do good but we just need to provoke it. That is our goal! That we will use Coco's stories as impetus for learning and growing together to make our world a better place.
The Coco project was started by a trained engineer and Navy/Army veteran along with his social impact driven aunt. Together they bring over 30-years of experience in diversity and inclusion as well as a lived experience reflective of gratitude, compassion and forgiveness. Through this project and the message conveyed by each nova, they hope to bring us closer together and make our world better through our individual and collective growth.
A fraction of the sales from the Coco project goes toward the non-profit mission of supporting women and girls, helping to enhance their well-being and move them closer towards their independence.

Our Values
& Appeal
Our values help us to define the work we do and stay true to our mission. These values we practice as individuals and we appeal to everyone we meet to adopt them. Our ultimate goal is to achieve a better world together. To achieve this, we put into practice the following:

We hold this rooted belief that kindness, gratitude, compassion, respect, and even love are all learned behaviors. We work hard to make this our way of life and we appeal to our audience and customers to do the same and be intentional in modeling these and similar behaviors for our own growth but also for our children and for those who look to us for guidance.
Our mission on this journey is to help cultivate better humans by provoking more love, discovery, and good through the use of our products. We hope that our novas, our books, our stickers, merchandise, and social engagement will help us all become more tolerant and caring of each other. We aspire to make decision making for parents a holistic experience as they determine the quality and benefits derived from the toys their children engage with; making it one that is not just about play, but is socially emotionally conscious and renders applicable life lessons for every child. So too, we choose to use our expertise to help foster more loving and supportive environments for families who are navigating dementia care for their loved ones.

Together, if we model the messages we communicate from our novas to children and others that we love, we then become the catalyst for a better society. We become the solution that helps us to bridge the fraction and political discord we're now experiencing in America and across the world. By learning and applying these tenets we become the hope and healing; averting more bitterness and discord, and instead; spreading love, respect, and tolerance.
